Did you know that when you’re building a powerful financial plan?

Did you know that when you’re building a powerful financial plan, there’s one force you must have working for you: the power of compound investment income! Essentially – your money works for you, and the money that money earns works for you, so on and so forth.
Now – suppose you deposited $100 into the bank when you graduated college as a 22 year old, then forgot about it. Over the years, the bank has paid you 4% a year, on average. So that, thirty eight years later, when you’re ready to retire at the age of 60, your $100 will have grown to $400, and you’ll have quadrupled your money with no effort!
The only problem with that scenario is that 4% annual return is paltry. Thirty eight years from now, $400 likely won’t buy what $100 buys today. With that in mind, you need to shoot for higher returns on your investments.
And – thanks to the “Rule of 76,” even slight increases in your investment return will give you dramatic increases in your wealth-building. As we’ve seen, at 4% your money doubles every 19 years (and quadruples every 38 years). Just by boosting the return to 5% a year, your money will double in about 15 years.
At 6%, money doubles in less than 13 years; at 8%, in 9.5 years; at 9% in 8.4 years. So – if you can earn 15% a year, your money will double every five years.
As such – remember to:
– Invest wisely
– Invest by numbers… i.e. getting the most for your money
